Indigo Life aims to be that drop that will spark
a wave of change for Ocean Conservation

Objectives:

Indigo Life has the following overarching objectives for the group which will be reflected in individual performance objectives:

Educate the younger generations for the challenges and opportunities of returning the oceans to a healthy state by acquiring sustainable resources practices and implementing new ways to diminish plastic impact to our seas

Recognize and empower role models that do not only stand out by their success as students, athletes, artists, but also as guardians of our oceans

Advance Peer-to-peer pedagogy programs that will enable educational opportunities and amplify outreach

Ignite a spark, gain momentum and achieve critical mass to effectively make the urgent changes needed to help our oceans

Reduce our plastic footprint in our communities, schools, sports, businesses and homes

Promote plans and initiatives of circular economy to change the way we all do things.  Businesses can continue growing in terms of production and profit while doing it in a circular new way of doing things.

Promote and work with socially responsible programs and initiatives as we firmly believe that sustainability and social responsibility go hand in hand.

Create strategic alliances.  Indigo Life believes the key for success in fighting Climate change and plastic pollution resides in working with people, foundations, business, organizations and industries together to have bigger impact.  Critical mass is key to achieve bigger results in a shorter time.  We are short on time, hence the need of strong alliances with key participants in this effort to achieve the results we need.

INDIGO LIFE´S strategy for Impact

Overview: Driving Successful Change: A 3-Point Strategy
The three-point strategy answers the three main questions Indigo Life asks:

How do we approach the biggest problem facing mankind today? With Education.  The base of all change is education

What do we do to revert and mitigate the problem of climate change and plastic pollution? By restoring. We implement and support programs that restore the health of our Oceans and Planet such as Blue Carbon projects.

How do we slow down and stop the continuous damage?  By changing course and doing thing things differently. Implementing circular economy initiatives that change the way we do business and human activities.

Education
Changing people´s mindset.  Educating, sharing, showing, exchanging, learning, transforming, growing.  Environmental education is set to become the largest, most effective tool in combating environmental damage and stop the pollution of our seas.

Restoration
It is critical that we start reverting the damage and restoring the Oceans and our Planet to a healthy state.  Indigo is committed to make the most impact in restoring vital ecosystems that will not only slow down the damage and effects of climate change, but will also protect already compromised ecosystems.

Transformation
We should also change the fundamental approach to a business process or system.  For instance, applying approaches to change management can increase the change of project outcomes.
