Blue Mind is a state of mind. Through photography, storytelling and art, we cast a net to make the world fall deeply in love with the ocean — because people protect what they love.

Blue Mind aims to stir the heart and inspire the imagination by showcasing the ocean in all its beauty, strength, and endless energy. An encounter that opens our connection with the ocean, ourselves and each other.
The project was created alongside The Ocean Race 2022–23, with images exhibited at each stopover city around the world — from Cape Town to Newport, Kiel to Genoa — and presented as a book at the finish line in Genoa, Italy.
Proceeds from Blue Mind help spread education on ocean health, circularity and restoration of key ecosystems, and support blue carbon efforts.

Passion for art, photography and the sea has led Sigrid to collect and share unique scenes of the ocean and the elements that harmonize with it. Being from a family of sailors, her deep and continuous contact with the sea has generated awe, love and absolute respect for this living force on which we all depend.

Before becoming a photographer Susana worked in advertising, but she sold everything but her camera and went around the world to fulfill her dream. From Portugal to Japan, she sought to broaden her vision of the world and inspire others to pursue their dreams — however impossible they may seem.
